Thermal management

The performance and lifespan of electronics, in every industrial or consumer application, can be significantly reduced from a non-optimal heat dissipation. The cooling of electronics, therefore, is essential for reaching and maintaining in time its nominal performance, as well as its reliability under various environments and/or operating conditions.

At Koral Technologies we are developing cutting-edge thermal management technologies, based on both liquid and air cooling, through both natural and forced convection, in order to optimize heat dissipation in high-performance electronics.

The technologies we are developing enable power electronics with reduced energy expenditure with a guarantee of higher reliability and lifespan, allowing our clients to minimize heat dissipations and fluctuations.

Energy storage needs inevitably sustainable, thus with a low environmental impact, flexible, i.e., adaptable to different environments and operating conditions, and intelligent solutions. The batteries currently widespread, which power a wide variety of devices and applications, present clear limits in terms of lifespan, reliability and safety.

At Koral Technologies we are developing cutting-edge technologies for battery intelligence, delivering hardware and software solutions for the optimization of battery packs, by extending their lifespan and guaranteeing high safety standards and high performance.

The technologies we are developing enable more safe, more reliable and long-lasting energy storage, thanks to the hardware and software optimization of the batteries, allowing our clients to reach high performance minimizing risks and related costs.

Energy harvesting

Nowadays wireless technologies pervade several industrial and residential environments, such as in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), smart home and smart factory, precision agriculture, wearable technologies, etc. However, these technologies present a significant energy expenditure and are usually powered by batteries, which, apart from the problem of their recharge and their end-of-life disposal, are manufactured employing critical raw materials.

At Koral Technologies we are developing cutting-edge energy harvesting technologies, allowing to harvest energy normally available from environmental sources (e.g., solar, thermal, mechanical, electromagnetic energy, etc.) and to make it available as supply for end-user applications.

The technologies we are developing enable energy-autonomous sensors and wireless applications, allowing our clients to reduce or even to avoid the use of traditional batteries.
